There are Real People on the Internet

My knitting blog and real life just collided at the yarn shop.
I was sporting the original Quinn bag, as usual, when I heard a voice from behind me in the checkout line.
“I recognize your bag! I made one!”
She had lots of nice things to say about the pattern and the bag. I was so busy being extremely weirded out that not only are you people on the other side of the internet real*, but y’all actually knit my stuff, that I forgot to even ask her name.
So, mystery Quinn knitter if you’re reading this…hi! Please out yourself in the comments! And feel free to describe how doofy I am in real life, hehe.

*It’s not like I haven’t met internet people before, but for some reason it never stops being weird to me.

That would be me – I realized after walking out, that not only had I not introduced myself, I might have come across as kindof creepy. Apologies I’ve too often had the slightly stalkerish sensation when meeting people whose blogs I read, and hope you weren’t too weirded out by someone recognizing you from your knitting.
Hi Emily!
Pleased to meet you! Don’t worry, you didn’t come off creepy at all. I think my brain just fried that someone knew me from my knitting! That was a first for me and aside from my deer-in-the-headlights inability to form a coherent sentence, it was really, really cool.
You will see the three skeins of black Cotton Fleece I bought today pop up on the blog, probably in a couple weeks. I’m working on a secret project.
