Quinn #2, halfway done

As you can see, Quinn #2 (first seen at the end of this post) is back on track. I’d forgotten how quickly the body of the bag goes, even with all the cabling. I managed to do two whole rounds on my 30-minute walk home.

Knitting While Walking = More Time to Knit

I’d heard of knitting while walking, but never actually tried it. I figured I’m already prone to tripping over my own feet while walking normally, I probably don’t need extra distractions.

But there was something about today.

I threw Quinn #2 into the eggplant bag and headed for the bus. I knit at the bus stop. I knit on the bus. And when I got off the bus, I…kept knitting.

I knit as I crossed the street.
I knit as I moved my feet.
I knit as I climbed some stairs.
I knit as I got some stares.

Not only was I knitting while walking, but I was cabling while walking.

I am awesome.
