Clown Feet

I’ve always thought the Felted Clogs from Fiber Trends were uber cute. Unfortunately, I have an excess of slippers, so I couldn’t quite justify making them for myself. So when the opportunity to make them for someone else came along, I jumped on it.
The yarn: Cascade 220 in camel (#8622) and brown (#8686). It took almost two full skeins of the brown, and less than a skein of the camel. The pattern is pretty easy to follow, though I couldn’t quite picture what part of the clog I was knitting when I cast on for the sole.
Needless to say, blindly following the instructions eventually led to something clog-shaped. These knit up very, very quickly; you could do a pair in a weekend if you really wanted to. They seem to run a little large, so you might want to knit a smaller size than you think you’ll need. Ta-da!
What?
Oh, felted clogs. Well, ok then. Stay tuned!
