My Mind, She is Blown

There is such a thing as a sheep-to-shawl competition (scroll to halfway through the post)?
I think I carded some wool, once. I was in middle school. Or maybe it was something for Girl Scouts. We were on a field trip to a farm.

Team work – well planned out team work is the secret – or so I can surmise from seeing it last year.
The spinner had to spin enough fibre to warp the loom, and kept spinning the weft(?) fibres as other team members worked on the other stages.
I saw it near the end and people were tying off the beginning edge and adding fringe while the weaver was still working away. Its amazing thing to watch.
